One of the simplest and fastest applications to use V2Ray on Windows is NekoRay. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to use configuration files with it.

To use NekoRay, you first need to install its prerequisites:

Then follow the steps below to use NekoRay:
1. First, download the appropriate file based on your operating system from the NekoRay project page. (Download `windows64.zip` for Windows 10 and `windows7-x64.zip` for Windows 7)

2. After downloading, extract the zip file and run the `nekoray.exe` file inside the folder. In the opened window, click on Xray.



3. Copy your desired configuration to the clipboard by selecting all the text and pressing `Ctrl+C`, then paste it in NekoRay or click on Server and select "Add profile from clipboard" as shown below.



4. After the new profile is added, select it and press Enter to activate it. Then choose "Tun Mode" at the top, and if prompted by Windows for permission, click Yes.


Note: A black Windows shell window will open and must remain open while you're connected to the open internet. To disconnect, just click on "Tun Mode" again.
